I'm going by franchise here, (so the Ravens are the old Browns). I'm excluding AAFC, AFL, WFL, USFL, XFL championships. But I am considering the Super Bowl to be the championship even before the merger, (thus not including the 1968 Colts and 1969 Vikings, we actually were NFL champions but not "World Champ[ions" because they lost the Super Bowl: the Jets and the Chiefs are included). I have also included both the Chicago Cardinals and Pottsville Maroons as 1925 champions because they both claim it. The NFL recognizes the Cardinals but the Maroons actually have the better case. The year is the year of the season, not the year of the championship game, when there is a difference, (the Patriots just won the 2014 championship).
