Some guy from Sporting News is kinda racist

David Whitley, a writer for The Sporting News, wrote an article basically calling Colin Kaepernick a thug and comparing him to felons because he's got tattoos. Call me crazy, but this seems a little more than vaguely racist to me.

Never mind that Kaepernick does a lot of charity work, was always a good student, comes from a good, healthy family situation, and the tats are bible verses.

Assumptions can be so dangerous, and looks can be deceiving. Seriously though, how long until tattoos aren't taboo? The mindset that only gang-banging thugs get tattoos is so ridiculous. That guy deserves to lose his job.
