Well, sort of...

This email from the NYC alumni club says they have secured "a large number of tickets at various price levels." But apparently they cannot start to sell them until MSG releases them.

In any event ... this email shows there are a lot of tickets out there that don't have to be bought through SJU or MSG.

SU Mens Basketball is coming to Madison Square Garden! In years past we have sold over 1,000 tickets to the St. John's vs Syracuse Games. We have secured a large number of tickets to the game at various price levels, filling entire sections with orange fans! We will announce ticket pricing and details as soon as MSG releases tickets. Seriously, couldn't you just join and give them an email? I bet they'd love to have the membership fees...rather pay them than SJU, GTown, etc...

I can confirm this also. I have secured 80 for this group but St. John's is dragging their feet and not allowing MSG to release them yet. The box office isn't too thrilled at this point.

I believe Thursday will be the day things get squared away and MSG will be able to operate normally.

Hey St John's, the only way you come close to filling up MSG is by selling to SU fans. In this age of money over everything, I'm shocked that we continue to see this maneuver by our opponent's Athletic Dept...
