We're 80th in simple rating system (weighted point diff). It's says we're about a point worse than the average team.
Wake and Lousville are in the 40s in ranking - Wake is about 5 points better than average, Lousiville is about 3.5 better than average.
Wake might be going downhill, we might have just gotten a lot better.
It's not crazy to think that we could win 2 in a row. These two teams are better but they're not miles better. I don't know what the game odds are for teams with those SRS ratings facing off but I've thought for a long time that there are bigger differences between 1 and 40 and 40 and 120 than there are for teams ranked 40th and 80th. Great teams are way better and terrible teams are way worse and between 40 and 80, there is a difference but not as pronounced
