New for 2018, parking prices have been reduced to $10 at all Carrier Dome surface lots. Individual game tickets start at $10 for adults and $5 for youth (12 and under) and students for six of the Orange's nine games (North Carolina, Navy, Binghamton, Army West Point, Hobart and Colgate). Ticket for the Orange's three premium games (Johns Hopkins, Albany and Notre Dame) cost $15 for adults and $10 for youth (12 and under) and students.

$105 vs $65 for the season ticket package.

But parking is semi-reasonable again (unless you park on Euclid and walk).

Always felt so dumb to pay $15 to park and $10 for the tickets.

So Johns Hopkins is a premium game but North Carolina (a better team) is not.?OOOOOK.

At least they wised up about the parking, made no sense to pay more for the parking ticket then you did the actual game ticket. Also nine home games is a ton, really need to take advantage.

Why can't there be some kind of opening Saturday of Lax madness type thing at the Dome. Have 4 games featuring 8 New York teams. Then these teams can play a game close enough for their fans to travel to in the winter months. There are about 50 such things for basketball. Maybe it could be a 2 or 3 week round robin, and Round Robin could be the sponsor.

Great idea.

Now convince OCC and Lemoyne.

Where would 8 teams change?

You're not going to have 4 games the same day.

SU has had triple headers in the past with a Men's game sandwiched between two Women's games, and there was an emergency triple header in 2013 when the Cornell vs Hobart game was moved to Syracuse due to brutal weather (but the Dome was almost empty for it).

Realistically, Cornell and Albany aren't moving home games to play in Syracuse in front of 500 people.

I was thinking of D1 teams.

In today's day and age it isn't beneficial for Syracuse to do something like this. For one the multi-week thing would not work because of mens and womens bball needing the Dome. Secondly having an indoor stadium gives Syracuse an edge not only in their ability to practice on there game day field as early as January/February but it ensures that they don't have to cancel game or worry about weather effects. Makes no sesne for them to allow Albany, Hobart and Cornell etc to play in the Dome and reap the same benefits. SU did allow Cornell to play Hobart several years ago in a double header after the SU game but that was a one time favor.

Beat my post by 1 minute, your last part is spot on.

Basketball season kickoff has had games around the clock. I think if the teams included say: SU, Colgate, Cornell, Hobart, Army, Binghamton, Albany and Canisius, There would be a huge turnout with high school players and anyone interest in lax across the state attending the festival. I'm just saying that it seems to be very workable for basketball, why not lax and why not in Syracuse, the home of Lacrosse. Also, I think equiptment companies would be on this bigly.
