Tanaaka's hamstring is the common reason stated that the DH should be universal in all leagues.

I hate interrelate play because of the disadvantage the American league teams endure.Sure you can reverse this with the NL teams in AL parks but the reasoning and consequences don't make sense . The commissioner needs to address this with his power equalize the game as its played. The DH has proven itself in keeping older players involved and giving rest to those who need it in a very long season.
