The SEC should be embarrassed ...

How should they feel about Alabama winning 38-0, Tennessee winning 45-6 and being 5-2 in bowl games so far?

I'm just playing off the previous post about the Big Ten being embarrassed by the Mich State loss. One bowl game isn't a trend.

Dirty and conflicted?

The Sec is far and away the best conference, and those who say otherwise are in denial.

The SEC is the best conference this year, but the gap between the SEC and the Pac12 and even the B1G is pretty narrow. The Big12 just doesn't play defense very well, and that's one reason why I think Charlie Strong at Texas make sense. His defense next year will be solid, and if he can just get some better play on offense they will become a force in the Big12 which is much needed in that conference.

Not sure about the SEC but Florida should definitely be embarassed.
Let's see... 10 wins in a transition year, losing their QB midway through the season, losing two kickers midway through the season, "only" losing to 'Bama by 14 in their previous game. Yes, the bowl game was a blowout. The defense was especially disappointing.

When they meet again in 20 months things should be quite different.

Agree with all of that, Florida's offense will catch up, and their defense will stay strong.

But the other side of that game was in a transition year too. Harbaugh's work has been pretty amazing. Fluke loss to Michigan State. Big 10 East isn't going to be a fun place for Penn State, Rutgers and Maryland anytime soon. 3 team annual race.

The bowl games are a hodge podge of trying to control the kids during their time off/focus, coaches leaving, players rested not hurt, game planning for a month, freshmen getting more rep, matchups and other various issues/factors. The teams that keep it together the best give themselves the best chance to win and if you have a lot of talent, obviously even more of a chance.

Florida's offense was/is beyond horrible and their defense just couldn't hold it together anymore. Michigan rips apart a very good defense in UF but struggled vs a worse D when they played OSU. This is what makes college football so much fun and enjoyable.
