Two years ago I said there was only one team happier with their season then Syracuse because expectations were exceeded and we made it to the final four. So that year besides Villanova of that final four we exceeded expectations more than anybody else. North Carolina was devastated losing at the buzzer they were not feeling warm and fuzzy.
This year to sneak in this tournament and then win three games in five days in two cities is remarkable.
However to beat Michigan State in Detroit with our point guard fouling out was against all odds. Furthermore shooting the way we did vs an experienced team with two lottery picks and extending the season to the Sweet 16 is remarkable.
We are either going to win the championship or be the second most satisfied team again just like 2016!
