the New Zealand miniseries from Jane Campion aired on the Sundance channel last month . . . I had it DVRed and finally watched the finale last night after the GS/SA game.

Best thing I have seen on television all year. If it replays, be sure to get it. And stick with it; it's a slow build, but the payoffs are tremendous.

It is on Netflix as well. I am about two episodes in. Lots of excellent actors. Really enjoying it so far.

Finally finished watch it. Cannot say I saw that ending coming. I had ideas all along that that character was somehow involved but never saw it playing out like that. Pretty shocking. What an excellent show.

Peter Mullan (Matt Mitcham) was electric. I wonder if he'll be eligible for an Emmy?

It builds slow. Don't give up on it early.
