Unlimited coaches?

The rich get richer. Big 10 and SEC would now have additional areas to spend the extra 50 million dollars a year they will get over the ACC.

When Clemson comes to town , Im always amazed by the amount of “coaches” they seem to have on the sideline. It’s like they outnumbered the players
My favorite Clemson ”coach” was the guy who only job was to pull that nut job coach back on to the sideline. Imagine just being a get back coach for a lunatic?

When is enough, enough? Administrators and college presidents have to wake up and say that it’s wasteful spending. Donors will finally say you don’t need me anymore if you can keep adding all these coaches. Before long you’ll have coaches tying players shoes because they don’t have anything else to do. It’s getting completely out of control. After that coaches will be walking around holding toilet paper. You can imagine what they will do with that!

Is hiring a recruit’s dad as a coach still a thing? Or has NIL made that irrelevant?

No doubt programs like Bama and tOSU when bidding for 5*’s will say

Glasses Why Dont We Have Both GIF by nounish ⌐◨-◨

That way, both the U and the boosters can each throw $ from separate sources at the family.

That seems like that's what this is. Creating more avenues to spend money somewhere to create an advantage.

They are running out of ways to spend money. Lol.

Yup, just another way to squeeze out the smaller programs who would never be able to compete. It’s bad enough they’re driving HC salaries up toward the hundreds of millions of dollars. Now you’ll have to have 85 coaches, one for every scholarship athlete. (The walk-ons will only get graduate assistants.)
