This obviously makes the game a bit tougher, though I'm not sure how much tougher. A quarterback coming off a broken fibula, in a new school with a new coach, new teammates, a new system and new surroundings. Won't go through spring ball (he's leaving Va Tech after graduation), we don't know how the injury will impact his dual threat nature (which is being a bit overblown to begin with on the board), our game will be only his second game with the team, etc. He was responsible for 254 yards & 2 TD's per game as starting QB in 2017, seemed to be improving when he broke his fibula 3 games into the season last year. He's a clear upgrade over Kasim Hill, but he's also not Jalen Hurts.

Been looking for a breakdown of how Maryland will be in 2019 and have not found one yet. Don't think Jackson arrives at UM until the summer, so that doesn't give him a lot of time to work out the kinks with his new team. Such an important game to have, especially given the gameday implications the following week.
