Given our predictability on offense, and knowing the film NC State has on us?

As stated in a prior thread, I feel we're set up well for a pump and go route.

If we insist on running West out wide, I'd like to see him run a slant or post w/ Estime or Broyld running wheel route underneath.

Bubble screen set up, run Parris or Wales down the seem.

Jet screen w/ the QB keeping prior to running a straight jet sweep.

Option and/or freeze option (half kidding but I still miss those days).

What does anyone else have?

That little streak Moore kept running at NW that got him the TD.

Broyld at HB, pitch out and throws deep or to TE slant down middle.

We'd have to run him at HB a few plays prior before that would work. With Morris out it may not be a bad idea though.

Trips right, Dive left. Or Dive right. ;)

Play action roll outs. Can set up some nice passes to the TE, back door screens, runs for Hunts, and generally will give WR some time.

First play, play action bomb. Seriously. At worst, it's incomplete, or picked off 60 yards down field. It's no worse than rushing up the middle for a yard.

I think all teams across football could do more with incorporating more creativity in their schemes.

Trips right- West/Clark/Broyld (from out to in). Hunt takes the snap and fakes the bubble screen to Broyld. West moves towards the line as if he is blocking and Clark runs a go route.

Assuming we've seen what they have in their playbook, (and there's no point in making something we haven't seen up), I'd like to see Hunt fake to the running back and keep it a few more times. I'd like to see Kobena actually get the ball on that fake reverse we saw last week. Broyld over the middle was our only effective passing play last week. On a general strategical note, this team needs to run to set up the pass. We are much more effective passing when we want to than when we have to.

anyone remember 1970's STRATEGY . flea flicker and key mombo baby. BOOOIIINNG. TD.
