Women's Lacrosse WLAX: Katie Rowan, Former 'Cuse Assistant, Named Wagner's Head Coach

Staten Island, NY – Former Syracuse University assistant coach Katie Rowan, the most decorated player in the program's history and a member of the 2009 and 2013 USA World Cup gold medalist teams, has been named head women's lacrosse coach at Wagner College, Director of Athletics Walt Hameline announced.

An assistant coach at her alma mater for the past three seasons under head coach and Hall of Fame player Gary Gait, Rowan worked extensively with the Orange offense where she helped tutor First-Team All-American attackers Alyssa Murray, Kayla Treanor and Halle Majorana.
