No. 1 Maryland (12-0) storms into week nine undefeated and atop the Media Poll, as No. 2 North Carolina is a spot behind their former ACC foe at 11-2. No. 3 Duke and No. 4 Boston College have traded places after the Blue Devils’ 13-8 win over the Eagles, while No. 5 Northwestern rounds out the top five.
No. 7 Stony Brook continues to rise in the top ten, as the Seawolves are the lone undefeated team in Division I lacrosse besides the Terps.
No. 13 Notre Dame jumps four spots this week, after topping No. 8 Virginia handily, 14-4, in Charlottesville, as No. 15 Stanford drops four after falling to Cornell, 15-7, earlier last week.
