7/28/59 Sir Edmund Hillary, the mountain climber who was the first European to conquer Everest, was on TTT. He’s the first guest.

He appeared on WML on 5/20/62 He’s also the first guest here, too. The panel can’t get anywhere near the summit on this one.


It's interesting that in 1962 they are blindfolded so they won't recognize him but in 1959 they didn't need to do that.
