Every year the nation looks for that "gritty" team from who-knows-where that crashes the Sweet 16 and beyond. This year, everyone knows where SU is and how we got here. But, what better "Cinderella-esque" storyline, and testimony to an incredible season, than to play into late March and early April after such a controversy plagued season. With all the adversity and distractions this team and the University have had to deal with for the past several months, and with so many already leaving the Orange for dead, I hope the coaches and the team draw upon these experiences for inspiration. The storylines and headlines are sitting there, waiting, and this team still has all the talent, depth and leadership it needs to make a huge run. Maybe I'm partly trying to pump myself up after yesterday’s depressing development but there's truly no reason that KJ, Scoop, Waiters, Fair and company can't make the next 6 games their best 6 games of the season. And I think the media would make that the top story of this year's tournament.[/FONT][/COLOR]
