This was the record of other bubble teams tonight. Sometimes you just take the win.
I posted this in the game thread, but I thought it deserved separate attention. And that continues poor play from those level teams all weekend.
I define the bubble (for the time being) as teams seeded between 8 and the last 10 teams out per the bracket matrix. The range will shrink as we get closer to March.
Florida lost at Vanderbilt who was 1-7 in the SEC
Seton Hall lost at Depaul
Tennesee lost to 3-5 Mississippi St
NC St lost at 2-7 Wake Forest
Indiana, Georgia, and St. John's all had understandable losses at top 25 teams on the road -- it will not hurt them.
And while Louisville is a great team, Miami missed a chance for a scalp at home.
And the only team that won... Illinois who is considered the 9th team out right now, took out Rutgers.
