edit #2: For accuracy sake I checked out the previous week's poll and SU actually moved up 32 spots from tied for 42nd with no votes to 10th. Obviously I'm counting everybody including others receiving votes.

Yep. We may not have received a single vote in the last regular season poll. So, they should have just arbitrarily put us right after the last ARV team, and based the jump on that.

I have no problem with 10, I can see why people were reluctant to put a team with 14 losses in the top 5, 10 is very fair, like Jb said we weren't in the top 40 before the tournament started.

ESPN is all about cross-promotion. On all of their non-live-event programming, they are constantly promoting the products of their "partners". NFL, NBA, MLB. Now that they don't show hockey, the NHL may as well not exist.
