He did put his head down to make the punishing hit on the player and he paid the price for it...totally unfortunate circumstance, but he was a product of that coaching style by Shady.As I mentioned on another thread here, a $$$ penalty will surely begin to stop this - I looked up the case of that unfortunate Rutgers player who is now quadriplegic - it was a 2010 game against Army, he was a DT, and it appeared he made the tackle with his head forward. Not only can the target be injured but also the player making such a hit!
