I think that the 25-0 record is an interesting inflection point to use because that season is when the cracks with our program really started showing. At the end of the day the loyalists will argue the downfall was due to sanctions... the non-loyalist will argue it's all about JB.  The answer is it was both and we will be stuck in this perpetual cycle of whose fault it is until either the direction of the program trend changes or JB retires.

I for one hope next season is different, because why not? As a fan when this year is over, all you have to look forward to is next year (this is specific to college hoops... there is much more outside of college hoops to look forward to)
