17% of Chris Mullins' total career coaching wins have come against Syracuse. And they haven't been close. I'm struggling badly to comprehend what is happening.

We are so freaking easy to defend yet we expand so much energy running around and dribbling around doing nothing. Horrendous and pointless screening. Then you get lax on D when StJ is getting hot and it is an uphill battle. The erosion of fundamentals and lack of any passion out there is really getting depressing though.

After they beat us last year (handily I might add) they lost 17 in a row, correct? Now, they come off back to back losses against LIU Brooklyn and Penn State, and beat us by 33. Oh and 3 of their next 4 are Butler, Creighton and Xavier. I shutter at thinking aobut how bad they will look in those games.

Seriously. Those teams will CRUSH them. They won't be standing around watching StJ get rebounds. The most sane explanation to me actually about tonight would be that of a complete staged mutiny out there by the team. It was that bad before I turned it off. Now I know this isn't true most likely but something is terribly wrong, regardless.

I love watching us screen. It's like they run up, think "close enough," and start their cut to the rim. DC is the only one that sets somewhat adequate screens at times, but who cares, what's he going to do?

What the hell is it? Does the WHOLE staff not know how to teach these things? Even if JB doesn't address this stuff wouldn't the assistants know how to teach and enforce these things? Or do they not notice those things also? If that's the case then completely clean house. We nearly also had 3-5 more turnovers due to lazy passes to the wing almost picked off. It just goes on and on...
