When MCW dishes out 7 assists or more in a game. It's amazing how much better the offense flows with him setting up others first, shooting second. Hopefully he is aware of this stat.

That also means that guys are hitting shots. He can pass all day long, but if the others aren't making the shots, everything goes to hell.

It's a nice stat but to put a bit more context to it, his APG also goes up when others on the floor are hitting shots. If we shot well all year he'd be well over 10 APG.

Right. So we need to see his record vs Top 50 teams, or top 100 teams. But you could almost say that about anyone. In most instances, there stats are going to be less vs top 50 teams.

Well 7-0 is pretty good too.

FWIW we're 10-1 in games where MCW has grabbed at least 6 boards.

We are 24-1 in games where MCW doesn't play like an AssClown.

We are 25-0 in games that we score more than the opponent, so why don't we just do that?

It also depends on how well the opponents defense is playing. In the first half, Pitt's defense was lackluster and MCW was able to create 6 assists. In the second half after Pitt tightened up their defense, MCW only got one assist.

Yup, I thought the same looking over his game log. Appears he only shoots a bunch when he feels he has to vs actually wanting to. If anyone else is scoring, we're much better off.

We're 25-0 when we have more points on the scoreboard than the opponent.. to echo others assists equate to made baskets.. we simply need to make more shots than the opponent.. this team shoots well they win if they don't then we'll see another bloodbath..
