Saw him out at a club later that night when I was out with my now wife and friends.  Gave the requisite props and thanks for a the good memories here, career and CFL stint (I'd honestly forgotten his time in the NFL).  Well he appeared to take umbrage at my faulty memory and with the way it went so he proceeded to turn into Mr. tough guy and started saying innapropriate things to the Mrs. right in front of me probably thinking I was some sort of sycophantic fan, this in an obvious but pathetic attempt to pick her up that left her speechless but me not so much.

Got in his face and was ready to go when his friends pulled him back convincing him it wasn't worth it and they bolted out of there.  Pathetic bar stuff to be sure but being younger and in better shape wittnessing such a personal affront there really wasn't any other choice.  Anyway realized, shockingly, what a narcississtic POS he was and was not surprised when I heard later what he did to his poor wife.
