Our Coach, who apparently was very harsh in commenting about his own PF today, needs to understand that in the 2-3 zone there is no "Power Forward" that we can expect to get 10 rebounds a game, given the rotational demands of the defense.

Pitt's O is expressly designed to position its interior players inside our guys to generate Offensive Rebounds...anyone watching the game would know this.

If we played Man-to-Man and our PF's man kept getting Offensive Rebounds that would be his fault, but in the zone, when the low-wing has responsibilities for guarding both the three and rebound, you cannot hold him accountable for everything.

This is my biggest pet peeve with Coach Boeheim's style...asking too much of players within his own system and not understanding how it affects their play...and then chastising them in public for it.

He needs a new strategy against Pitt. It doesn't matter who the players are, we always lose.

Could you imagine how bad Dixon would crap his pants if we switched to m2m?
