Roberson is very close. Looked very good in the first half and IMO will be very hard to keep off the bench which may mean squeezing one of our 3 bigs for minutes. I see 15min a game for him by seasons end.

Ennis is just a transcendent talent who cares if its not completely an athletic talent. He needs to shoot open 3's boom next game kills them with 3 makes. He just cut that defense up all game.

I think its too hard as a freshman to get on the floor over two forwards that have experience and will have a real shot of playing in the NBA unless ur Carmelo

I don't think it will be over the forwards I think it will be over one of the bigs as I said. Roberson has gone from lost to not noticeable out there to fitting in and making plays all over the last 4 games. He's going to get better and better revisit in say 8-9 games and see where he is.

Can't imagine Roberson will see 15 minutes per game, unless DC's injury continues to linger. But the steady progress is nice to see.

the perfect rotation is 3 guards/3 forwards/2 centers . . . if DC is hampered and Roc is forced to play all his minutes at C, then that opens things up for TR to be the 3rd forward. But if JB still has confidence in DC and he comes back, then its back to the pine for TR

When Tech cut the score to 44-40, the defense really picked up the intensity and I believe cuse went on a 16-0 run to put the game away. Really liked how they responded and sealed the win during that stretch.

I wouldn't bank on Roberson getting minutes, but an argument can be made that he should.

He's more skilled than Grant, neither of our starting forwards is a defensive standout, and there will be times when both Fair and Grant struggle on offense. Roberson will be needed as a third forward option; it'd be nice for him to get the opportunity.

It makes me feel a lot better about our depth, that's for sure.

The one thing that really bothers me, still, is the question of how far along he would be if he had gone on the Canada trip. Can't change history, but would like to have seen how far along he would be with that experience.

Finally, while excited about McCullough coming in, I'm really excited to see the leap Roberson will make from frosh to soph.

I can see Roberson getting more time during the regular season. During games we are supposed to win. Developmental minutes similar to Grant last year.

However, come season end, when the big tournament games are played, I see a shrinkage in his time. It looks to me like CJ and Grant will be leaned on in a big way come NCAAT, much like it was CJ and JS last year.

It will be interesting to see how much time Roberson gets Saturday.

In any event, it is good to see Roberson doing well, and looks well positioned to be a force next year.
