For what its worth, I thought Baye played with a ton of energy and passion - you can't discount what that does for your team mates. He may not have had the stats that Fab had, but he also didn't let FLA take advantage much when he was playing in Fab's place. As far as Rakeem, I think he's going to end up being a monster. I love his aggressiveness and confidence. He does need more experience but a close game may not be the best time to play him and possibly ruin his confidence if he didn't play well ... and possibly lose a game. I thought FLA played pretty good defense - we settled a LOT for jumpers and that's on their defense. So I'm not sure how Rakeem would have fared against an athletic defense.
