it seemed that we hit enough of them while in the double bonus for most of the 2nd half to keep it close while our offense struggled. Huge win.

Their FT shooting is going to do them in if it doesn't improve. Just too many points left at the line!

I saw a stat that indicated VT was leading the ACC in made / attempted FTs per game. My big fear was that they would be the defensive aggressors, and yet we'd predictably get whistled for a million fouls. Thankfully, it didn't go that way.

We almost did ourselves in with poor FT shooting. But I'm thankful that we made them when it mattered. We needed every point.

20-32 (62.5%) isn't very good but it could've been worse. If SU shot as bad as VaTech did from the line (53.8%) we'd have lost the game.
