Not much movement in this week's rankings. The Orangemen find themselves in 13th place. This would be their worst possible spot in the final rankings. A win over Pitt would see them climb to a 5-way tie for 9th place. A win over Pitt followed by a bowl win could see them rise as high as a tie for 8th place.
Spots 14-17 are now set. Tulane took their bonus trip to Hawaii and gave it a good effort, but ended up losing. I wonder if Ron Zook or Turner Gill will be giving Tulane a call.
