The 2012 FBS Private School Football Rankings for Week 5 are here.
Stanford's loss at Washington sees them falling from #1 to #4, while Tulsa joins the list of schools receiving votes this week. Northwestern (5-0) continues a slow climb and is now in each poll's Top-25.
Duke has compiled a 4-1 record against unimpressive opposition. This week (vs. UVa) is a virtual must win if they hope to reach a bowl game, along with their game against UNC. Other than those two, they face the gauntlet of: VPI, FSU, Clemson, Georgia Tech and Miami.
Tulane remains as the only winless team. It's quite likely that ULM fans outnumbered Tulane fans at the Superdome. Sagarin now ranks them as 191st out of 246 teams... yikes.
Reminder: the Harris Poll typically comes out after week 6. Expect to see it included in next week's rankings.
