It wasn't a great weak for the private schools on the gridiron.  There were 3 all-private affairs and one idle team.  The record in the remaining games was only 4-6.  Predictions for next week's games are given below.
 
Duke started out well against VPI but then crashed and burned... so badly, that they no longer receive votes in any of the polls.
 
The big news is that Tulane won their first game of the season. They're now tied for last in the weekly rankings with our "friends" from Chestnut Hill who were blown away by FSU.
