Any speculation on what the site will be?

I'm really hoping its not 2010 all over again and they pick Syracuse to host the East - sending us out to Texas or some crap.

Why? The university and city need these opportunities. Boston made an estimated $22 million this past week from the tourism. Can Syracuse afford to say no to this just so the hoops team is in the East Region? I hope they don't.

I'm thinking possibly Brooklyn or Pittsburgh. Otherwise I can't figure out what the delay is.

They want MSG but due to the NIT, renovations, and other extra curricular stuff, things have been put on hold. If MSG is not a go then NJ, Brooklyn, and the Carrier Dome are the other options. I think they will choose the new arena in Brooklyn if MSG doesn't get the green light.

I think you're looking at Washington D.C. as a possibility. Or Philadelphia.

Philly is already hosting the 1st and 2nd rounds. I feel like I should book a hotel for there now.

Looks like it will be either MSG, Newark, Brooklyn, or Syracuse. If it's not MSG, which is the obvious 1st choice, I bet you it will be Newark. Beautiful arena and just hosted the tourney last year.

Because this would be on relatively short notice, I've got to give the edge to Carrier Dome and Prudential Center in Newark, since they've hosted these things in the past.

i contributed my share of that $22 million.

The only nice thing about losing and i mean the only nice thing is my bank account will have an extra $2,500+ next Tuesday.
