It has started with the reported firing of Will Muschamp from the Florida Gators.

Possible other movement.

B1G

Brady Hoke, Michigan
Kevin Wilson, Indiana
Time Beckman, Illinois
Darrell Hazell, Purdue
Kirk Ferenz, Iowa

Big 12
Paul Rhoades, Iowa State
Mike Gundy, OSU

Pac 12
Mike MacIntyre, Colorado

ACC
Most happened in last couple of years.
Mike London, Virginia (maybe)

SEC
Would not be surprised to see Les Miles go to Michigan.

Kirk Ferentz is going nowhere.

He's got seven wins I think this year.

I don't see Mike Gundy getting canned either. He is 82-43 or something close to that.

True, but he's one of the most overrated and over paid coach's in college football.

I wouldn't call him overrated but definitely overpaid. Well I guess that depends where you rate him. Top 10 coach to match his salary? Definitely not.

I am an Iowa fan and watch almost every Hawkeye game so I fully admit my opinion is probably biased. He does do some things that drive me crazy. But Iowa won't get rid of him at this point. I'm afraid it might turn into a situation of be careful what you wish for.

At some point Va tech is going to move on from Beamer, that win against duke may have saved his job this year. Still on the fence, but I think his seat is getting very warm.

It started when Charlie Weis was fired at Kansas following the opening snap of the season*.

* - actually, it was after the 4th game. You just don't see too many, if any, September firings.

Does Les Miles go to Michigan?
Does Rich Rod got to Florida?

Imagine the musical chairs those two would start!

but didn't Brady Hoke have a lot of experience as a head coach prior to Michigan?

Why would Miles leave LSU for Michigan?
He is a Michigan grad, played for and was an assistant coach under Bo Schembechler. Michigan loves to hire Michigan people. Miles has been at LSu for 9 years. That is a long time for a HC.

Some speculate the lure of Michigan will get him this time. Who knows?

Lure, or $$$?

Lure, or $$$?
Doubt it is dollars. He could win in the B1G a lot easier than in the SEC. Perhaps that is it. I don't know - I never could see him leaving to go back to Michigan but others in the know say it is possible.

Is his contract at LSU up?

I wonder if Shafer had an 8 win season if he'd take a look at these B1g jobs opening up.

NOt that it matters right now because of the season we had, but, let's say hypothetically that Shafe had a great season. If other colleges came calling, I've been told that there's about 5 jobs he'd seriously entertain. The majority of which are around where he grew up.

OSU and who else?

He's also burned a massive bridge at UofM...

I don't know why everyone keeps assuming that Miles would even be welcome at Michigan.

Had not heard that - what's the story?

The story is, Les Miles slept with Gary Moeller's wife which led to his drunken implosion.
That sounds rather strange. Moeller is what, 12 years older than Miles? Possible I guess. I know Miles didn't get along with Lloyd Carr, but I understand that Carr is not close to the program so I don't think that is an issue.

The rumors are very strong, but then again they were twice before.

Miles to Michigan is like Stoops to UF rumors, happens every time, turned down every time, don't see it

Carr is still very close to the program. Still has an office in Schembechler Hall.
