That 2008 Pitt team had preseason hype and fizzled during Big East play finished 10-8 and got healthy. Then Pitt won the Big East Tournament winning 4 games in 4 days and getting a lot of hype and love the following day during the selection show as a 4 seed. Then the Panthers went on to lose in the 2nd round in Denver to Michigan State.
I think all of this pumping up of Michigan State's tires is getting ridiculous. They are good, but they aren't this super team. They will be a tough out, but I am going to pick Cincinnati to beat them 2nd round.
