2014 Notre Dame Game

According to the ESPN article the Notre Dame game is one of the five ACC games they play next year, if they play 5. I am sure this was answered in the past but is this a conference game and how does it work into our conference standings?

Not a conference game. Won't have any impact on conference standings unless there's a tie and the tie breaker is overall record.

After Notre Dame starts losing 2 or 3 games out of the 5 each year, then 1 or 2 others, they will realize the only way to the championship is through the conference.

NotreDame is not a conference game.They are only in the conference for all other sports.They have to play 5 games a year with the ACC but they are not conference games.

and notre dame is only playing 4 acc games next as they couldn't get out of a game so the wake forest at nd that was supposed to be played next year isn't.
