I'm curious who the board thinks will be our biggest producers this season in the following categories:

Rushing Yards (Who and how many)
Receiving Yards (Who and how many)
Touchdowns (Rushing + Receiving)
QB's TD/INT ratio (Presumably Hunt, but you know...)
Passing Yards (Who and how many)
Interceptions (Who and how many)
Sacks (Who and how many)
Total Tackles (Who and how many)

Rushing Yards (Tie; Hunt and McFarlane. 850 a piece.)
Receiving Yards (Ishmael 900)
Touchdowns (Rushing + Receiving; Phillips (I hope - as the #1 "H" Back))
QB's TD/INT ratio (2:1 or 20/10, 24/12 - something in that range)
Passing Yards (Hunt - 2,600)
Interceptions (Cordy - 5)
Sacks (Thompson - 11)
Total Tackles (Franklin - 144 (obviously))

Rushing Yards (McFarlane - 900 yds)
Receiving Yards (Ishmael - 850 yds)
Touchdowns (Rushing + Receiving; SwERVe or McFarlane) *Dont know how much the regular backs will be involved in the passing game though, so more likely Erv.*
QB's TD/INT ratio (Hunt - 24/7, backups - 3/1)
Passing Yards (Hunt - 3,150 yds)
Interceptions (Winfield - 4 ints)
Sacks (Thompson - 9 sacks)
Total Tackles (Zaire - 126)

Rushing Yards - McFarlane - 848.
Receiving Yards - Ishmael - 750 w/ 8 TDs.
Touchdowns - Hunt - 10 rushing td's + 1 receiving td = 11 td's.
QB's TD/INT ratio - Hunt 22/9
Passing Yards - Hunt 2,844
Interceptions - Williams 3
Sacks - Jonathon Thomas - 9 sacks.
Total Tackles - Franklin 120 tackles.

Rushing Yards: McFarlane - 739 (I think there'll be solid balance, hence no 1000 yard rusher)
Receiving Yards: Ishmael - 718
Touchdowns: Philips - 9
QB's TD/INT ratio: Hunt - 15/10
Passing Yards: Hunt - 1,937
Interceptions: Cordy - 3
Sacks: Sugar Bear - 9.5
Total Tackles: Zaire - 94

Rushing Yards: McFarlane - 1050
Receiving Yards: Ishmael - 800
Touchdowns: McFarlane 7
QB's TD/INT ratio: Hunt - 19/8
Passing Yards: Hunt - 2,400
Interceptions: Morgan 3
Sacks: Thompson - 7
Total Tackles: Cordy - 105

I'll play -

Rushing Yards (Who and how many) McFarlane - 1,150 (220+ carries
Receiving Yards (Who and how many) Ishmael - 600+ (45 rec.)
Touchdowns (Rushing + Receiving) Phillips - 9
QB's TD/INT ratio (Presumably Hunt, but you know...) 19:12
Passing Yards (Who and how many) Hunt - 2,100
Interceptions (Who and how many) Whigham - 4
Sacks (Who and how many) R. Thompson - 7
Total Tackles (Who and how many) Franklin or Hodge - 112

Regarding the rushing/receiving/passing numbers...I know a lot of the predictions don't seem like much, but do what I did: go look at the record book for best single season totals. A lot of the predictions here would be in the top 5-10 all-time in several categories, including passing yards and receiving yards.

Just for perspective:

#10 on the single season rushing list - 1,065 yards
#10 on the single season passing list - 2,134 yards
#10 on the single season receiving list - 822 yards

Kind of surprising how pathetic (on the whole) our offensive numbers are given how many great players have been a part of our program.

I realize the majority of the "passing game revolution" has occurred since McNabb graduated, which explains why our passing and receiving numbers are low, but I would have expected our single season rushing totals to be higher given the 44s, joe Morris, Walter Reyes, Jerome Smith, Delone Carter and all the other hundred great backs we've had whose name currently escapes me.

Rusher - McFarlane: 675 yards (he, Morris and a Frosh split carries, the team runs for 1,773 yards as a group)
Passer - Hunt: 1974 yards (Hunt misses some time due to blowouts, and a minor injury. Wilson plays and throws for 275 yards on the season)
Receiver - Ishmael: 738 yards (awesome season for a sophomore)
Total Yardage - Erv: 992 yard ( 597 receiving, 395 rushing)
TD's: Morris with 12 rushing/receiving (McFarlane 8, Ish 6 Erv, 6)
TD/Int - Hunt: 14 Tds 8 INTs
Sacks- Thompson: 11.5 sacks
INTs - Whigam and Cordy tie with 3
Tackles - Franklin: 123 tackles

Most Impressive Freshman Offense: Strickland
Most Impressive Freshman Defense: The freshman DL who played the most, my guess is it will be Steven Clark

So many over-shot predictions imo

But that's what makes these threads great

I am totally on board with this except for the Erv math part...687+395 = 1082 which I would be really happy about for Erv and the team.

Good call on the bad math. I was thinking his receiving number was way to high. It's still high imo even after I fixed the math.

If Erv the Swerve puts up almost 1000 yards on offense we will be in a very good place.
