In NCAA Division 1, there are at least 30 colleges that are looking for 3 or more basketball recruits to fill out their 2018 basketball rosters. Several of these teams are looking 5 or more players with one team, Evansville Purple Aces looking for 9 players to fill out their roster. This implies close to 100 spots are open.
These numbers do not accurately reflect all the potential transfers or those players announcing to go pro. For example, the Martin brothers at Nevada are both contemplating posting for the NBA draft.
This list include prominent schools to name a few as Arizona, UConn, Dayton, Georgetown, Maryland, Xavier, St. Bonaventure, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Oregon and Syracuse. Many of these schools already have three or more Commits already.
