SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's rowing team will open its autumn campaign on Saturday afternoon at the 2017 Collegiate Small Boat Challenge on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.
"It is a very fun event and we wanted to reward those women who did a great job with their training over the summer," head coach
Justin Moore stated. "We are excited to see how many crews we can place in the top-level finals."
In its first race of the fall season, Syracuse will send out six pairs without coxswain: junior Racheal Caldwell and freshman
Meg Varcoe, sophomore
Lucy Pearce and junior
Lauren Richards, junior
Arianna Lee and senior
Christina Tobias, sophomore
Maddy Horridge and senior
Ashley Johnson, sophomores
Kate Aemissegger and
Hailey Hudson, and senior
Alexis Dorner and junior
Zoe Preston.
Rowing is slated to begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. The finals will occur on Sunday morning, beginning at 8 a.m.
