I will probably still go, more so to see the other Olympic sports practice than to watch middle aged men make fools of themselves.

When I was a kid, all practices for basketball and football were open (though you had to look through an obscured fence on Lancaster to watch football practice).

Then football practices during the season were closed.

Then the spring practices were closed, except for the spring game, which really isn't a practice either.

Meanwhile, basketball practices moved the the Melo Center and became closed.  All of them.  Unless you consider (Not) Midnight Madness to be a practice, which is isn't.

There was an open practice for Ernie Davis Club members once.  But that is gone now.

If you knew someone in the military, you might be able to get to watch the team practice at Fort Drum.  That has been discontinued, at least for now.

That leaves the Fan Fest practice as the last practice crumb for SU fans.  And now that has been taken too.
