But the Babers' offense is well known and established.  They aren't going to win any games because the opponents don't know what is coming.  If they aren't installing a game plan, I find it hard to believe there is a lot to be gained allowing fans access to an early preseason practice or two, or to some of the spring practices.  I think the coaches aren't afraid of leaks in terms of strategies.  They are more concerned about news on the Internet on where all the players stand in terms of depth charts, playing time, etc.  That could cause unhappiness from parents and family and maybe hurt the pride of some proud players.

But in football, there are no secrets.  The truth is going to eventually come out.  I think the staff just doesn't want to deal with those headaches before the season starts, so they can focus on coaching the players up and installing packages.

If I didn't remember how good it used to be to be a Syracuse fan (in terms of access to the practices), it wouldn't be a big deal.  Oh well, I hope they can coach as well as they can close doors, pull down shades and lock windows.  If so, we are going to win a lot of games soon.
