Eight men’s and eight women’s Division-I college basketball teams will compete in the 18th annual Paradise Jam held Nov. 17-25, 2017 at the University of the Virgin Islands in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

The women’s tournament will take place Thursday, Nov. 23 through Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017. The tournament field will include Butler, Drexel, George Washington, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. The women’s tournament features two four-team divisions in a two-game bracket competing for separate tournament championships.

The U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam is hosted at the University of the Virgin Islands’ state-of-the-art Sports and Fitness Center, an $11 million venue with a capacity of 3,500, new hardwood floor, new scoreboard, four locker rooms, and fiber-optic internet connectivity.
