As a result of Venus Williams essay in the Times on the eve of 2006’s Wimbledon Tournament, Tony Blair and members of UK’s parliament publicly endorsed her stance for equal pay. Thus Wimbledon and the French Open agreed to it in 2007. Soccer is just another slow fight. [/QUOTE]
