Anyone?

Anyone???

Offense:

Dungey
Pierce?

Defense:
Slayton?
Alton?
Cordy?

Do we have anyone we can be confident in? These last three years have been borderline physically painful.

I'm going to say Slayton. Love both Dungey & Cordy, but I believe Cordy's lack of size and Dungey's injury history and operating in a "gimmick" offense will be held against them.

I think Alton Robinson could be part of the 2020 draft class. I was pretty impressed with him. Thought he was our best pass rusher and he's got 2 more years to hone his skills.

But I think you basically covered it. I don't see anyone else that really deserves a mention as of today.

Slayton and maybe custis if he blows up this year.

Dungey doesn't have the arm or accuracy to be an NFL type QB. That injury history will definitely add to that.

Dungeon could play his way into a prospect. But only Slayton is a potential draftee right now. Robinson has a shot. If he gets 10-11 sacks next year he gets on the radar. But I think he will get those numbers next year with Slayton drawing all the attention, and his numbers slide to 6-7 as a senior preventing him from being drafted.

Of course Slayton. Slayton might be our biggest prospect since Chandler . Love Robinson too. Cordy? Um, no. Given his size and love for contact , he vastly lacks coverage skills and instincts. At his size you have to compare his game to the honey badger's and thats where the hope ends.

Dungey could be an HBack in the NFL.
He is athletic enough to play in the NFL but not as a QB most likely.

Shafer didn’t recruit much high end talent.

Lol ALWAYS comes back to the that.
It comes back to the fact Scott Shafer’s hiring set us back during the most important transition in the Syracuse football.
All because the AD decided he wanted to go internal and cheap.
The fact is his recruiting class isn’t producing one player invited to the freaking combine.
Last year we only had 1 player at the combine and it was AET who was brought in by Dino.
Think about that the last 2 years only 1 player at the combine.

I don't have to think about it you've said it every chance you've gotten. We got it

This is true but it’s due to the fact I really hated the hire to begin with.

It’s relevant.

In a who gets drafted thread, where the players are all SS’s...it most certainly can be pointed out that SS was a flat out buffoon who helped ruin this program with his incredibly bad recruiting and game day coaching.

To put in perspective, plenty of GRob players got a paycheck for Sunday work.
