I guess the bottom line for me is: after kicking one star player of the team last season, which was truly one of the most disrupting and havoc inducing things I've seen happen to the SU program in a long long time - I find it hard to beleive that they would take another risk on a player who had been kicked off his team just last year.  I know you point out that the reasons they were kicked off their teams were completely different, I still don't know how much of a difference that should make? It sounds like Scanlan was not a well liked member of his team even before the incident that got him kicked off, and the behavior exhibited by Tehoka sounds like he could also rub his teammates the wrong way.  On top of that, I think you'd have to design your entire offense around him, which I don't think is worth it for a one year player.

If there was an annulment that he had decided on Syracuse, I wouldn't be upset. I just don't know how much better it would make the team, and I don't know how much more disruption this team can take to be honest.  I know he's talented and it would drum up tons of media coverage and hype. Adding up everything, I just don't think its worth it.
