While Europe is not that strong this year, there roster seems pretty much set. While the US team might have 12 players in the world top 20, the 9 auto's for Europe go all the way down to #40.   So the three alternates would all be players outside of the top 40.

Europe has the top 4 from their point list that are in, plus the next 5 in the world rankings as automatic.

So as of now that would be
Rahm 
Fleetwood
Hatton 
Mcilroy
Hovland
Casey 
Fitzpatrick
Westwood
Lowry

So that would leave 3 spots for the following (none of which are in the top 40 in the world)
Rose 45
Perez 47
Poulter 49
Garcia 53

I feel I should just stop there and take Rose, Poulter, Garcia.   In 2018, Europe valued experience in their alternate picks as guys like Stenson, Garcia were not that strong at the time but got picked.    I can't see them not doing the same this year, especially since they have the highest World Rankings amonst the alternates.

The other top 5 candidates based on world rankings are Victor Perez, Robert Mcintyre, Matt Wallace, Guido Migliozzi, Bernd Weisberger.     Can't make a good argument for any.
