Then, there are only 2 more qualifying windows, at the end of January and the end of March.

For CONCACAF, both are 3 games per window.  (We get an extra day for each window, when there are 3 games instead of 2.)

So, it's a 14 game qualifying campaign, over 5 windows in only 7 months.

Having a legitimate 30+ man squad is going to carry us through qualifying alone, no matter who is off their game, and who gets injured (so long as it isn't [I]a ton [/I]of injuries ...).

Point being, we could lose an attacking guy, a central midfielder, a center back or wide man, and it wouldn't put our team in jeopardy, "Oh how could they possibly compete without him!"

We are way past that with this new generation of talent.  We can take a few hits, and still have quality guys to say "Next Man Up", guys who can still win games.
