After a rough second loss of the season, the OrangeMen didn't drop too much at all in the polls.
The biggest surprise was their appearance in the College Football Playoffs rankings. IIRC, for the first time ever (I'm sure I'll be corrected if not so).
If it existed in 1987 they could've been in the playoff that year and would've beaten Pat Tie's team in OT to go to the final.
A loss this week would likely be more damaging. Hopefully, they'll survive and then smack FSU to the curb.
Win 2 of the next 3 and 9-3 is in sight.
