Regarding the bolded.  That is what I meant - I think Morey made some sort of informal agreement to him regarding the contract which did not end up being offered in the end.  Why else would have Harden agreed to a one year discount otherwise.    I think Harden can certainly be more than upset, and even quite angry, about that one.   I remember that the NBA was "investigating" that one year contract when it was signed - I wonder if Philly used that as an out.

As for Kyrie - agreed the vaccination was an unexpected twist - but still he had a long pattern of crazy before that, that you agreed to hitch onto.

In the end Harden's regression has been significant - 2 years ago when he was traded to Brooklyn it was viewed as a gamechanger.   When Simmons-Harden were traded for each other it was viewed as a game changer for both teams.   Now its just maybe it could work and make the Clippers possibly contend, but its questionable.

It just seems to me at this point with the new foul rules, he puts gross numbers up from usage, but his effectiveness is limited.
