We have one regular season game left, at NC State.  This looked like a sure loss for a long time but guess what?  NC State has lost 2 games in a row and is reeling.

We are now ahead of them in the ACC standings (lots of teams with 5 losses).  If they beat us, we also fall to 5 losses and they presumably get the higher seed because of their head to head win.  If we win, we are the 2 seed.

Unless V Tech loses both of their remaining games.  They have to play at ND and then at Virginia.  Yes, the same Virginia that just beat UL.  So this is possible.  Pretty unlikely.  But definitely possible.

Even if we beat NC State and V Tech loses out, and we tie, they win the tie breaker with their head to head win.  But it would still be awesome.

Beating NC State on the road should not only guarantee us a 4 seed, I think it positions up to be a 3 seed.  If we lose to NC State, we probably need to get to the ACC final in the tournament to get a 4 seed.
