Love seeing cuse as the 2 seed but this seems off. Can’t see NW as the 4 or BC and ND being outside the top 8. Four teams from the big 10 in the top 7? Seems a little sus, as my daughter says…

Let’s hope they play with passion and trust their instincts!

With BC having the 2 seed I’d rather SU get the 4, even with having to play an extra game.

That's no easy first round game. But, you have to play tough teams eventually. Let's hope they can craft an offense that can score on a defense like the one BC runs.

Syracuse was the 3 seed. They get Stonybrook who is 12th in rpi.

Maryland was the 4 seed. They get the winner of James Madison (19) and Penn State (21).

Seems fair.

I wonder who is on the committee. I wouldnt be shocked if Spallina called in a favor to be placed in Syracuse. That allows him to watch his sons on Sunday night, even if it means he got his team a harder game in the second round. Stony Brook should be playing Yale, Penn or UVA.

Maryland has gotten a favorable draw for as long as I can remember. I can honestly say that I did not know that RMU had a women's team.

JMU/Penn State will likely be a tight game and Maryland will be able to rest their starters in the second half. SMH
