Syracuse
With the graduation of Syracuse's all-time leading scorer, Meaghan Tyrrell, the Orange offense will have new faces but returns ILWomen Top 50 players Emma Tyrrell and Emma Ward, and at the same time, the defense returns several starters, including Goalie of the Year Delaney Sweitzer.

played Binghamton today, according to Fanlax. Wonder how we did lol
Here is what I have been told, 12-2 at half (all starters) and Kate M looked good in the draw winning close to 75/80%. Subs started rolling in third Q and SU still looked good. Fourth Q was all subs and bing still had starters in for some of it. They brought it closer for 18-8 final. D and ride caused a bunch of turnovers. Offense looked pretty crisp, but bing was not much of a challenge considering who they have in the first 14 days of season…

Thanks. Laxfan board member said Ward was our only feeder? That could be an issue down the line? Wonder if that's accurate and if Vogelman is back. Apparently Markey is still out?

Being reported on Fanlax that UNC has lost Brooklyn Walker-Welch, Marissa White and Chloe Humphrey for the season to lower body injuries Syracuse is definitely not the only school plagued with this type of injury wish them all a speedy recovery

Geez that's terrible. I hope they all make full recoveries, but mannnn those are HUGE losses for UNC.

I have yet to find this being reported anywhere else but on Fanlax forum for the players sake I hope it’s wrong

5. Syracuse
The Orange Offense was flying high with several scoring threats on the field. Although they graduated key contributors, they have some returning with opportunities for less seasoned players to step up.

Olivia Adamson (30G, 21A): Last season Adamson's role grew from not just an attacker, but as a draw control specialist too. She posted career highs in points and assists, proving not only that she was a threat as a scorer but as a draw control specialist as well after stepping into that role when Kate Mashewske went down with a season-ending injury.

Emma Tyrrell (52G, 16A): The younger sister of Syracuse's all-time leading scorer, Meaghan Tyrrell is back for her final season at Syracuse. A fiesty attacker that tends to play her best in big games, the Orange will need Tyrrell to take on more of a leadership role this spring.

Emma Ward (38G, 56A): Ward's second season for Syracuse was highly successful, earning First Team All-ACC and ILWomen Third Team All-American. Ward has a high-powered shot from the outside and the ability to create offense as a facilitator as well, finishing third in the country in assists.
